About David


An engaging and challenging writer and speaker, David is at the avant-garde of thinking around the future of work, technology and ethics.

David’s academic work on desiring machines, ethics and motivation is complemented by his 20 years’ experience in central Government, the National Health Service and the Higher Education sector. During this time David has been a social policy advisor, private secretary in Whitehall, international consultant to the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Associate HR Director and UK representative at the Employment Committee of the European Union in Brussels.

Current projects include working with CIPD on the future of HR, developing new ways of visualising people data in organisations and the opportunities offered by Virtual and Augmented Reality and 3D printing.
